Be A Part of the First Open Streets Event in Irvine!
This May 4, Celebrate community, connection, and clean air through the City of Irvine’s first-ever car-free Open Streets Event along 1.66 miles on Barranca Parkway and Harvard Avenue. Come enjoy a street fair atmosphere dedicated to getting you moving with food, music, and play areas for kids!
CicloIrvine will highlight the City’s commitment to community engagement, sustainability, and environmentally conscious means of travel with nearly two miles of City streets closed to cars and open for people to stroll, bike, and roll! Experience Irvine’s public spaces and local business in a new and reimagined way with live music, art, and engaging activities for all.
Love Irvine has volunteered to assist with red light and intersection reinforcement, in partnership with the Irvine Police Department.
The event starts at 11 am and ends at 4 pm.
We need volunteers for the following shifts (minors are welcome if accompanied by a parent):
Shift 1: 10:30 am to 1:30 pm (20 Volunteers Needed)
Shift 2: 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm (20 Volunteers Needed)
